Trying (very hard) to mimic natural light with studio strobes. We had planned on trying to recreate the magic of our initial shoot, with lots of natural light and lingerie. Mother nature didn't feel too cooperative today, so I pulled out a HUGE parabolic light and every reflector I had in the studio to make the bounce.
The effect worked, I thought this was a broad daylight shot near a panoramic window. Fantastic work! The model's not half-bad either.

It's a really great shot, gorgeous model too. But as far as I know the sun burst out like 100000 lux in broad daylight. Something I noticed on your shot...maybe less highlights on her skin would make it more believable. But cool shot non the less.
WTF is the first comment?...is he trying to be the great light expert.....that's why I stopped asking for critiques on DA.....because you always get someone saying "you got it wrong, but is OK anyway"...
Thanks for your lighting info, its interesting and a helpful detail for us......... I think its a beautiful photo....a beautiful model, and great technique........ well done!!!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm featuring a little part of the deviant community ! Asked few days ago, and requested everyone to show me their 3 favourites photos in their own gallery, and the 3 most popular!
So, here is it.
Follow me if you want to be in the next feature, I'll create a new poll for it soon!
