I had a shoot last night, and I'm really just happy on a bunch of different levels. This is Ally. Ally is the girl behind the counter at the place I get lunch most days. Now, obviously, it's inappropriate for me to solicit her while at work. I've seen her for about a year now and thought she'd be great to shoot, but without any common outside place to meet up with her, I was sunk. Imagine how stoked I was when she contacted _me_ about a shoot!!
Ally is a little bombshell. Getting down to your "essentials" is always a bit daunting. Especially, I would presume, with someone you're going to run into in common day-to-day business. But every time I do this, I notice a pronounces difference in the quality and connection in the images when a model decides that they are ready to "bare all". With Ally, we did some very quick introductory images - which actually turned out well and will be in her CD. But once she "let her hair down", she really showed the woman that she is, and I hope that those images are the ones she'll be most proud of.
I had a blast with Ally, and since she's just a short distance away (maybe a mile), I hope to shoot with her again!! Lunchtime will never look the same again

And anything and everything that is red lipstick, gorgeous make up, provocative poses and YOUR creativity! Don´t worry if you are not a professional, i´m sure there will be some professional work in the book, but what makes it so special is that it is a compilation of the REAL us, REAL women so don´t dare think i´m not good enough to be featured, because YOU ARE!!!
And if I can just add one IMPORTANT thing...the book is NOT JUST about photography. Art, drawings, sketches, retro magazine covers, graphic design, vector. Whatever medium rocks your world, include it. The only brief is that it has to be...sexy, burlesque, pinup and FABULOUS! (Sexy legs in old fashioned suspenders should be in the brief too I think!) and shoes…the list is endless
I´ll need to know the model´s name and the photographer and a url or website link to put in the acknowledgements of the book of course so that if people love your work they can contact you directly. You retain FULL Rights to your photos, the Rights are ONLY for this ONE book. All future Rights are yours of course.
I want to make a magnificent coffee table book featuring the gorgeous girls that i´m finding in groups that i´m browsing. Vintage, corsetry, posting, pinup...you do it best. I´ll leave it in your capable hands.
